The Heiman Lab at MIT

Studying molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative and psychiatric disease

Research Interests

The Heiman Lab is broadly interested in the  phenomenology of enhanced vulnerability in neurodegenerative disease, and view it as an opportunity to discover valuable insights into the cell biology of each disease-relevant neuronal cell type, as well as to identify new therapeutic targets.

Join our Team

If you are passionate about scientific inquiry, creative and self-driven, we want you to be part of our group.  We are looking for talents at all levels with backgrounds and interests in all areas of life sciences including but not limited to  molecular neurobiology, cell biology of the neuron, or developmental neurobiology.
