Short Biography
Florence received her Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Boston University in 2021, where she studied the role of sensorimotor integration in the striatum in Dr. Xue Han’s lab. After graduating, she worked as a technician in Dr. Robert Desimone’s lab, studying the neural circuits underlying social behavior in marmosets. As of 2025, she is a graduate student in Dr. Myriam Heiman’s lab, currently studying cell biology underlying motor learning.
