Short Biography
Flossie was born in Suzhou, China. She received her B.S. degree in Neurobiology and Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in May 2022. After graduation, she moved to Boston and worked in the Flavell Lab at MIT, investigating the neuronal pathways that integrate sensory information and guide C. elegans’ odor navigation behavior. She joined the Heiman Lab in Spring 2025 as a graduate student in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences. She is now studying the brain-wide mapping of the cerebrovascular cytoarchitecture in the disease context.
