Short Biography



Charlotte received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Boston University in 2020. After graduation, she became a full-time research technician in Dr. Fan Wang’s lab at the McGovern Institute for Brain Science at MIT, where she worked on identifying critical brain circuits underlying drug addiction. In the spring of 2024, Charlotte took her passion a step further by joining Dr. Myriam Heiman’s lab as a graduate student. She is currently exploring the role of stress in vulnerability to Substance Use Disorders.
