Short Biography
James received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2022. After graduating, he went on to work as a research technician in Jonathan Weissman’s lab at the Whitehead Institute at MIT, where he applied functional genomics to study age-related disease and degeneration. As a graduate student, James is interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of aging and their role in neurodegenerative diseases.
